(2019) PRP Voyager is an electronic music instrument developed during my time as artistic coördinator at STEIM. I developed the instrument around one of my pseudo random pulse (PRP) algorithms. With the instrument one can sonically investigate the rhythmical relationship in between pulse and randomness. Complex mapping strategies are employed to control all the different parameters that set the sound parameters of the instrument. This means that with the joysticks you can wander through multidimensional parameter presets that are stored in each corner of the joystick.
