Interactive Loudspeaker Cube

Interactive Loudspeaker Cube (ILC) is a sound installation containing five loudspeakers that are facing the surrounding space on all sides. ILC is capable to detect the 'relief' in its surrounding space. In reaction to a changing 'relief' in the surrounding space, caused by bodies in movement around ILC and/or the movements of ILC itself - constantly changing electronic compositions are sounding.

ILC is developed within the scope of IOM [Interactive Orchestral Machine] research project from the Loos Foundation and was made possible by a residency offered by Studio Loos in 2009.
